Please spend a moment to read our quick ‘how to’ guide to get the best results from your recent purchase from the PureWax range.

step-1
STEP 1

Park the vehicle in the shade and make sure panels are cool to touch. Shake the bottle well and turn the trigger to the ON position. Prepare your first Microfibre Cloth (for application) by folding into quarters (8 useable sides).

step-2
STEP 2

Starting at the top of the vehicle (as this is usually the cleanest part) spray a mist of the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detail onto a section / panel (generally half the roof / hood is a good size section).

step-3
STEP 3

Using your Microfibre Cloth, wipe LIGHTLY in one direction (not circular) to remove dirt and excess product until panel is clean. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the cleanliness of the microfibre cloth, when one side becomes soiled, switch to a new side.

step-4
STEP 4

With a new (buffing) Microfibre Cloth, polish the panel to a showroom shine.

step-5
STEP 5

Repeat this process on all panels, bumpers, headlights and grills. LASTLY apply PureWax to your Rims/Wheels. Turn the trigger to OFF position. Wash your Microfibre Cloths (as per instructions) for the next time you apply the product.

1. WHY DOESN’T PUREWAX WATERLESS WASH / DETAILER SCRATCH MY VEHICLE?

This is one of the most common questions in the marketplace regarding waterless wash. The use of polymer technology is the answer. When sprayed onto the vehicle, PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer saturates the dirt particles in a fine lubricant. This lubricant literally isolates the particles and separates them from your vehicle’s surface to protect your vehicle’s finish. Not dissimilar to using water on the car with a sponge, but with more lubrication than water itself. With the use of a PureWax Microfibre Cloth, you may then safely capture these softened dirt particles from your vehicle’s finish. Always work on one section at a time. Spray, pick up, dry and polish. Never apply or polish with a soiled Microfibre Cloth.

2. CAN A VEHICLE BE CONSIDERED TOO DIRTY FOR WATERLESS WASH?

Obviously, it is possible that a vehicle can become too dirty for this type of wash (i.e. off road 4×4). With regular driving this limit will not be reached. All types of dirt can be effectively removed with the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer. However heavy mud cannot be cleaned because it saturates the area of the Microfibre Cloth too quickly.

3. WHEN CAN I USE PUREWAX WATERLESS / WASH DETAILER?

PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer can be used all year round in Australia. However, the temperature has to be appropriate. It is important to clean your vehicle in the shade if extreme temperatures occur because the sun rays will warm up the car’s body and the product will dry up too quickly, thus becoming hard to work with.

4. HOW MANY WASHES CAN I DO WITH ONE BOTTLE?

You will need between 3-4oz of product to clean an average sized car. So a 16oz bottle should give 4-5 full details. What is important to understand is that you only need t spray a thin layer of the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer to soak the dirt and let the micro-bead polymer do its work.

5. WHAT TYPE OF PROTECTION DOES IT LEAVE ON MY VEHICLE’S SURFACE?

The polymer that is found in the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer leaves a thin layer of protection that shines your vehicle as if you had just waxed it. The polymer leaves a mirror-like finish on your vehicle’s body with UV protection. With this protection comes an antistatic effect that prevents dust from sticking; washes are therefore less frequent. Use PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer regularly to maintain a showroom shine.

6. HOW MANY CLOTHS DO I NEED TO WASH MY CAR?

We suggest 3 Microfibre Cloths to clean your entire car. The first 2 cloths (when folded correctly) are used to pick up the dirt and primary product removal. The third cloth is then used for buffing.
